Grade 3 winner LINCOLN KING (1) finished third in a in a hurdle at Sandown-Lakeside. Couldn't emulate that effort last time out when he switched to the flat, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 2m2f at Bendigo. Sure to prove hard to beat in this more suitable race. DUBAI MOON (4) is a talented jumper who improved on his previous flat run and won by 1.5 lengths, again on the flat, most recently over 1m5f at Ballarat. Right in the mix on current form. ALAKAHAN (2) did a good job to clock-in third in a (2m1f) at Sandown-Lakeside then ran a nice race last time found a couple better in a hurdle (2m) at this track 14 days ago, 5 lengths behind the winner. Hard to leave out. PURE DEAL (3) registered a sound second 26 days back in a hurdle (2m1/2f) at Sale. That result came as no surprise after a solid second (2m1f) at Sandown-Lakeside two starts ago. Leading contender again.
