SIZZLING TALE (8) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fourth last time out over 7f at Orange. Has a win and two minor placings at this journey from four starts and is right in this. SPANNER (4) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0.9 lengths over 6f at Dubbo. Looks well placed and he looks sure to be in the mix. ALLANDE (6) finds it hard to win with just one success from 37 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 6f at Dubbo, beaten 4.5 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can salute. WHATABOUTSCOTTY (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Dubbo, beaten 10 lengths. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
