FENERBACHE (12) was in the money when resuming at Lightning Ridge then could only manage sixth last time out over 6½f at Armidale. One of the chances based on his best recent efforts. WAR TOY (2) settled well back before making steady ground in the straight last start to finish fifth, beaten 2.2.5 lengths, over this journey at Mudgee. Should prove tough to hold out. MR COSMIC (15) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 16 when beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth at Gunnedah over 7f. Likely improver with strong prospects.
