MISS ITALIANA (8) met with solid support last start over 7f at Moree when second, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will appreciate the longer journey and can play a major role. SHAMISTER (4) scored a barnstorming win last start over 6f at Wagga Riverside, coming from the tail to get up by a nose. Comes here in the right frame of mind so he will prove tough to beat. ANOTHER GIFT (2) proved too strong two runs ago at Armidale. Couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1m at Coonabarabran, beaten 9 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. FELIS (3) improved last start to finish third over 1m at Coonabarabran. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
