TREASUREFLIGHT (7) broke his maiden four starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten half a length into third over 6f155yards at Geelong. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Best form puts him right in this. SNIPPETY LEGEND (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 13 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 6f at Yarra Valley, beaten 9 lengths. Likely contender with strong prospects. BIG OPTION (1) raced on the speed and kept going to score by a head last time out over 6f at Naracoorte. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration. SMART RETURN (11) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fourth beaten 3 lengths at Donald over 5f. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Must be respected.
