SASSIDORA (12) showed ability at her only start back on August 1 when third over 6f at Cranbourne. Looks forward enough following a subsequent trial win. Sure to have improved over the break and should prove tough to beat again. WATTEN ASSETT (6) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a neck from the winner in second over 5½f at Echuca. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. BIG STAR (9) showed good speed last time out and fought on well when second over 6f at Yarra Valley. Should be prominent despite the wide draw. Lachlan King has registered two minor placings when on board. Expected to measure up. CUISINE (10) returns from a 53 day break after finishing second at Geelong last time. Readied for this with a recent trial win. Should settle handy in the run. Can feature in the finish.
