BOULDER JACK (1) is a distance specialist who finished eighth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 6f at Swan Hill, beaten only one length after being in contention on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. LA MEETING (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in second over 6½f at Wodonga. Placed to advantage so anticipating another big run.
