WALLABY JACK (4) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Wodonga, beaten 2.75 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. WELLSPRING (6) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Benalla, beaten 4.5 lengths into eighth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. HIGHWAY ONE (2) turned in a moderate debut over 6f at Seymour on December 29 when he was safely held in tenth, 6 lengths from the winner. Will take a lot from that experience. Top-three chance. ZIPLINING (7) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff he finished seventh over 5f at Mornington. Has trialled well leading into this. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
