NOUVEAU (12) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Yarra Valley. Less impressive last time out when fourth over 5f at Sale, beaten 3.5 lengths. Won't find this as tough so she is a leading contender. STAR OF IDA (14) was safely held when fifth last time out over 5f at Moonee Valley, beaten 12 lengths. That followed a win at Geelong at the previous outing. Has the ability to take this out. OVER YONDER (4) has been thereabouts, finishing fourth at Seymour last time and 4.5 lengths from the winner. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Should be involved in the finish. BON SHADOW (1) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 3 lengths from the winner in third over 6f at Seymour. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
