JESSUP (1) is a 10-start maiden who could only manage to finish 11th at his latest appearance over 6f at Pakenham. Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. CLEVER ILLUSION (4) is yet to break through after three career starts. Could only manage to finish fifth last time out over 6½f at Sandown-Lakeside following a minor placing at Seymour when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Likely to be about the money. TYMON (7) is returning from a lay-off of six months. Finished tenth at Pakenham Synthetic over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Toby Lake. Fitter for a eighth in a recent trial over 4½f at Echuca. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. MISS LOTTIE (12) resumes after just one run in first campaign where she finished in the money at Wodonga. Has had the benefit of a trial and must be included in calculations.
