Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be taken lightly. SOOBRING IT (3) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time when he was in the firing line all the way over 5f at Glen Innes. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. SPELLECAST (2) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished eighth over 5f at Gunnedah, beaten 5 lengths. KAKODA (6) is a three-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Scott Singleton. By Graff from Vega Dior. Looks forward enough after a Scone trial win. Worth watching for a betting push.
