RIVIERE (3) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 1m at this track (Synthetic). Looks well placed and a bold showing is expected. SHEAR (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track (Synthetic) over 1m after being in contention all the way. Should camp just off the leaders. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. COLLECT A LIL (1) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6½f at this track after being prominent at the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. ROSE DARLING (7) was a winner over 1m at this track (Synthetic) last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by half a length. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is one of the better hopes.
