POPLAR PARK (2) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 1m4f at Vaal after being in contention on the turn. Has the ability to take this out. JORDAN (1) bounced back last start and got the job done by a neck after being prominent at the bend over 1m2f at Vaal. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ONE MORE STAR (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m2f at Vaal, beaten 2. 5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. COPPER PLATE (8) built on a nice second two starts back at Vaal with a win over 1m4f at Vaal five-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Likely to be in the finish again.
