PALACE PRINCE (5) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f at Vaal when third, beaten 1.3 lengths. Promising type with improvement to come so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. EMERALD FORGE (7) returned last time with a solid second at this track over 5¾f. This looks a sterner test than last time but she is one of the key runners.
