SECRET CHORD (5) was a determined winner last time at Vaal, scoring by a nose over this distance. Big weight drop so he shapes as one to consider. ZANTHAR (6) produced another moderate effort last start when 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5½f at Turffontein Standside. Nicely placed to find some form.
