NYAKA NYAKA (3) finished fifth on debut then improved last start but found one better over 5f at Vaal, beaten 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to take this out. SAFE TRAVEL (5) is a two-year-old colt by leading Elusive Fort who was purchased for ZAR R 250,000 (Cape Thoroughbred Sales 2024 BREEZE UP & UNBROKEN 2YO SALE). Hard to assess, so will pay to keep safe. HOTARU (8) was never in contention on debut last time out over 5¾f at Turffontein Standside, finishing sixth and beaten 10 lengths. Deserves another chance.
