TAXI TO THE MOON (9) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 2 lengths over 5f at Turffontein Inside. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from four starts. Leading player again. CLIFF HANGER (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Vaal over 5½f. Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be left out. COSMIC STAR (5) finished third last time over 5f at Turffontein Inside when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.2 lengths. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. SHELDON (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Vaal, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Gavin Lerena gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Better than recent efforts suggest.
