DESERT CLOUD (3) finished second, beaten 4 lengths, over 5f at Vaal on debut five-and-a-half months ago and has been kept under wraps since. Sure to have improved over the break and expected to go well again. MY ONE AND ONLY (10) raced once in the maiden campaign when well supported but could only manage fourth at Scottsville over 6f back on August 25. Big chance with race experience now on board. FASTNET FILLY (1) resumes from a lay-off of eight months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 6f at Kenilworth. Good effort to open last prep when in the money at Kenilworth over 7f. Rates highly and is a chance to break through. GERBERA (5) had support on debut last time out when she boxed on fairly to finish fourth, beaten 1.75 lengths over 6f at Vaal. Fitter and is one of the chances.
