LONG Set Weights ORD (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.3 lengths over 5f at Vaal. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. VELDSKOEN (3) stepped up in trip to 6f last time at Vaal and ran below his best, finishing 4.5 lengths away in sixth. Better suited at this shorter trip so can bounce back. BOB (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 5f at this track. Likely contender with strong prospects. PURPLENINJATURTLE (4) returns after a lay-off of ten months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 7f at Greyville All Weather. Among the better hopes.
