CHYAVANA (1) missed the frame when resuming last start over 5f at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Reunites with jockey Gavin Lerena who knows him well, including two wins while aboard. Fitter and looks sure to play a big role. MOUNT PILATUS (7) lines up for the first time since May 9. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5¾f at this track. Looks a winning chance. RICHARD THE FIRST (3) proved too strong two runs ago at Vaal. Not as effective last time out when third over 7f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. FIRE 'N FLAMES (2) was comfortably accounted for when eighth last time out over 5¾f at this track, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at Vaal at the previous outing. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
