SONIC JET (4) faced the starter for the first time and finished fourth last start at Vaal over 6f, beaten 2.75 lengths. Will have a lot more to offer this time. FATAL FLAW (2) missed the placings on debut then improved last start but found one better over 7f at Vaal, beaten one length. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. VARVARA (5) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. OXALIS GOLD (3) is a nicely bred two-year-old filly making her first appearance at the races. By Gold Standard from Serruria who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Sure to be well-educated, being from the Mike De Kock stable. Promising type who is one to keep a close eye on in betting.
