THERES A LIGHT (1) is a six-start maiden who was in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second at the latest appearance over 7f at Turffontein Standside. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Best form puts him right in this. THE PLAYBOY BOMBER (9) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 7¼f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. STREWN SKY (4) finished second last time over 5¾f at Turffontein Standside when resuming from a lay-off, beaten one length. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. APACHE SON (8) finished midfield on debut last time out, safely held 10 lengths from the winner over 7¼f at this track. Deserves another chance.
