GIMME THE FLAME (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only one length over 6f at Vaal. Taking on a better line-up this time but she cannot be underestimated. CERULEAN DANCER (5) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at this track two starts back then landed the prize by one length as favourite last time out over 6f at Vaal. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. VIVA DE JANEIRO (7) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 13 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 7¼f at Vaal, beaten 3.5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. GREEN SCEPTRE (9) finished fifth over 1m at Turffontein Standside at his most recent appearance on July 27. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
