TOUGH AS AN OX (9) has been in great form with two placings in succession, most recently when beaten 1. 3 lengths into second over 5½f at Grants Pass (Dirt) when he was handy all the way. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. MENDELSSOHNS MUSIC (2) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Prairie Meadows (Dirt) over 5½f after being in contention all the way. Has the pace and draw to take up a good early position. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. STREET GUN (5) is a six-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 4 lengths when fourth over 5½f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt). Should progress from that last outing and poses a genuine threat. ALI JAC (7) didn't do a lot on debut eight weeks ago, finishing 28 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6f at Los Alamitos (Dirt). Plenty of scope for improvement. Can feature in the finish.
