Likely improver with strong prospects. INVARIABLY (9) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 6½f at this track after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. WEDNESDAY AT SHADY (4) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when sixth over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Will strip fitter and will be tough to beat. HOGMANAY (8) was below his best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths over 7½f at this track (Turf). Finds a nice race and can make amends.
