Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. DEFENSOR FORTIS (1) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 14 lengths into sixth over 7½f at this track. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. BARON'S SONG (7) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 5.5 lengths when seventh over 1m at this track two weeks ago. Finds a suitable assignment and can turn things around. DR VINNIE BOOMBATZ (9) has switched yards since finishing sixth two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m1/2f at Remington Park.
