RUN SMITTY RUN (2) has been in great form with three placings in succession, most recently when beaten 1.3 lengths into second over 6½f at Louisiana Downs (Dirt) when he was in the firing line all the way. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. THIRSTY THURSDAY (9) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of his ground last start when 7 lengths away in tenth over 5½f at Fresno. Likely improver with strong prospects. BEER BEGONE (4) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time when he was always up in the leading division over 5f at Grants Pass (Dirt). Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to figure in the finish. ROAD OF LOVE (3) was beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth over 5½f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino three-and-a-half weeks ago. No surprise to see him in the frame.
