Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. WHAT A DUDE (6) got the prize two runs ago at Santa Rosa. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1m at Santa Anita, beaten 9 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to feature. SURROUNDEDBYANGELS (7) returns after a lay-off of 11 weeks. Looking to emulate his win at Sunland Park at the beginning of last prep. Makes plenty of appeal.
