KURT'S CHOICE (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BRANNIGAN (1) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 36 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1m at this track. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to feature in the finish. HOT MEMORIES (7) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 2.5 lengths when fourth in a 6½f contest at this track two weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. RESPOND (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Golden Gate Fields, beaten 1.5 lengths into fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
