SPEEDING STYLE (5) ran a bold race over this journey last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 4.5 lengths away in third at Golden Gate Fields (Synthetic). Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. BOSS NINE (2) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 8 lengths, over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Ready to go a couple better. DARNQUICK (6) hasn't raced since finishing fifth over 4f124yards in stakes class at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) on June 18 and has since switched stables. Goes well when fresh with a win and one minor placings from four starts. Shapes as one to consider. CHAOKOON (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 16 lengths. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish.
