GALANO (6) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 7¾f at Canterbury, getting home by a neck. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. HOOLIGAN TOMMY (2) scored by 2 lengths last start at Randwick Kensington over 7¾f. Has a very good record over this journey with six wins from 11 starts. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Well placed and sure to run well. FORMAL DISPLAY (4) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win when resuming last start by a head over 7f at Eagle Farm. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. ANYTHINK GOES (9) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a nose away in second over 7½f at Rosehill. Likely improver with strong prospects.
