LORD DEVENISH (4) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 27 lengths away in ninth over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MRS GOSSIP (9) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 3 lengths away in fourth over 1m2 1/4f at Moe. Solid top-three prospects. DA DEPUTY (6) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at Yea, beaten a long neck. Will benefit from that outing. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
