JESSUP (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 3. 5 lengths back in fourth over 6f at Kilmore. Will take some beating. SHAMROCK BAY (10) held on well to finish third when when resuming from a break last time out over 5f at Moe after leading for much of the way. Solid run last time and will take catching again. ROCKCLIFF (6) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 0. 7 lengths, over 6f at Ballarat. Nicely placed to take this out. DANERICH DAN (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Kilmore over 6f after he gave away a big start. Well placed and can play a prominent role.
