RICH AND JOYFUL (2) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at Bairnsdale over 5f last time, finishing sixth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. NINYO (10) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 7f at Wodonga, finishing second and beaten 1.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. HOT CHILLI MAMA (3) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Pakenham over 7f, beaten 1.5 lengths. Comes down a level this time. Well placed and should be in the finish. INNOCENT MOVES (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Avoca over 6½f. Likely improver with strong prospects.
