Should appreciate the longer journey and is expected to be in the finish again. MISTER DOOBEE (4) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6½f at Mackay, finishing 6 lengths back in ninth. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. The engagement of Lacey Morrison is a positive move. Has the talent to figure prominently. FARAWAY DOWNS (5) settled back before coming home strongly to score on debut over 5½f at Mackay five months ago and has not appeared since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Townsville trial win. Sure to play a major role. BETTERLUCKNEXTTIME (2) went forward over 5f196yards at Home Hill last time but found one better.
