SMART LEGEND (5) ran a strong race when resuming at Cairns then went to town last time and could only manage eighth over 7f at Eagle Farm. Rates highly and can bounce back. ASTRA STAR (8) progressed nicely last time out when he made late ground to finish just 0. 8 lengths from the winner in third over 6f at Rockhampton. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. OUTSMARTED (10) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 6f at Mackay, beaten 3 lengths. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. ARMOUR FORCE (4) boxed on fairly last time over 6f at Mt Garnet, finishing second and not too far from the winner. Suited at the longer journey now and can run a cheeky race at odds.
