RUN RAYMOND RUN (2) is fresh from a lay-off of six months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Canberra Acton over 5f87yards. In a different yard now. Ran fourth in a trial at Townsville over 4¼f recently. Best fresh figures put him right in this. ARANCIA (5) is yet to break through after five career starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 5½f at Mackay following a minor placing at Mackay over 5½f the run prior. Among the leading chances. SHADYVALE AL (8) is a 13-start maiden who finished seventh at his most recent outing over 7f at this track after he gave away a big start. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. VOLARE (10) again failed to feature last start, finishing fifth and beaten 7 lengths over 5f at Home Hill. Cannot be left out of calculations.
