BLUE STEEL (12) was a dominant winner last time at Cairns over the same distance. Goes very well at this journey, boasting four wins from six starts and should prove tough to beat. MOEGREEN (9) finished second two runs back at Cairns then improved last time out to score by one length over 7½f at Cairns. Sean Cormack scored on him last time and retains the ride. This doesn't look as hard so he is perfectly placed to score again. JOHN JOSEPH (3) progressed nicely last time out to finish just one length from the winner in second over 7f65yards at Home Hill after being in the firing line on the turn. Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. BRASCO (4) wound up strongly at the end of 6½f at Mackay last time out, finishing half a length away in second. Has a terrific record here with two wins and two minor placings from four starts. Too good to ignore.
