IRISH MIST (13) finished out of the money two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 6 lengths when seventh in a 7½f contest at Cairns nine days ago. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. IT'S BEEN A TREK (16) finished 4 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7f at Cairns after being prominent at the turn two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Among the chances. STORE BEACH (9) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 15 when beaten 11 lengths into 11th at Cairns over 7f. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp.
