OUR EAGLE ROCK (2) has been racing well this campaign, scoring last start over 5¼f at Rockhampton to make it two wins from three runs this time in. Nikki Olzard who has two wins when partnering stays on. Among the leading chances. WHISKEY RIVER (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 4¾f at Cairns, beaten 4 lengths into sixth after being in the firing line on the turn. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. NOOSHBAHOOSH (8) was in the firing line on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 4¾f at Cairns after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is up to the task. SUPID DATE (12) settled well back but hit the line well to finish sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 5f here last time. One to watch for late in the piece.
