THE EIGHTH I AM (3) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when eighth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 6f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. RUN FREDDIE RUN (1) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Michael Geaney stable. Hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Stawell four months ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and is in a nice race. Leading prospect. FAIRYBOWER FLYER (11) has recently been thereabouts without winning, the latest effort a second over 6f at this track. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. One of the main contenders. MISS FARSTAR (7) hasn't raced since finishing fourth at Cairns 40 days ago. Readied for this with a recent trial placing. Not to be discounted.
