EXCELBOOM (1) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1. 3 lengths from the winner in third over 5½f at Ipswich after being prominent at the bend. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. SPIRITOFTHEWORLD (10) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 8 lengths back in fourth over 6¾f at Warwick. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. YEAH BUDDY (2) is a locally trained maiden galloper who resumes after finishing in the money over 5½f at Ipswich three-and-a-half months ago. Primed for this return with a trial win. Sure to be competitive. I AM PIETRA (5) stepped out on her debut over 4f65yards at Gatton two-and-a-half weeks ago and finished fourth, beaten 2 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
