ARAMINTA (10) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 6f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. THE DEPUTY (5) continued the solid form last start, finishing 1. 75 lengths back in second at Rockhampton over this trip. Hard to knock and is a winning hope again. LAST CHANCE SALOON (1) proved too strong two runs ago at Warwick. Couldn't follow that up last time out when ninth over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 4 lengths. Has raced four times here and has never missed the frame. Finds a more suitable contest and can return to winning ways. PORRISTA (16) raced on the speed and found plenty to score by 0. 6 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
