MAURITA (8) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1m at this track. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is a major player. BRAIN WAVE (10) is a six-start maiden who could only manage to finish 12th at her latest appearance over 1m at Eagle Farm. This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. ROYAL GLADIATOR (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Eagle Farm, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. CHEERFUL CAT (1) is racing well and has registered four minor placings in a row, last time out finishing third over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
