PUREZZA (6) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 1.5 lengths at this track. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Should park just off the speed. Will give a great sight. THE DEPUTY (3) finished seventh last start over 7f at Eagle Farm after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will take some beating. TALANA (2) was not disgraced in city class last time when sixth at Doomben but back to home course this time. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Should be involved in the finish. HARBOURMASTER (5) returns from a lay-off of three months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at Ballarat over 7f when when resuming last time in work. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 4f at Warwick.
