MORNING THOUGHTS (6) found plenty to salute by one length three runs back at Laurel (Dirt) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Goes well at this journey with two wins and two placings from six starts and should be in the finish. SOLOMONS GOLD (2) returns from a lay-off of 12 weeks and is having his first run for a new yard. Was a winner when fresh last campaign at Gulfstream Park (Dirt) over 6f. One of the genuine hopes in the race. CAERUS (1) improved sharply on his ninth two starts back at Delaware Park (Dirt) with success over 1m1/4f at Penn National (Dirt) two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2.25 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. TOAST TO COAST (3) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when eighth over 7f at Charles Town, beaten 11 lengths. Expect a better run this time.
