LAST COOKIE (3) finished ninth over 6½f at Turfway Park (Synthetic) at his most recent appearance on December 29. One of the genuine hopes in the race. BANG A RANG (1) settled well back last start and never threatened when 5.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5f at Tampa Bay Downs (Turf). Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. EL BAMBINO (5) had been rock-solid with three placings in a row before finishing fourth over 1m at Mahoning Valley last start. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and is not to be discounted.
