Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves serious consideration. SUSPICIOUS JESS (7) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1½f at this track (Dirt) but could only manage fourth, although only 1. 5 lengths from the winner. Among the winning hopes. MAKING CHANGE (8) last appeared when successful by half a length over 1f130yards at Sunland Park (Dirt) five-and-a-half months ago, the only time she went to the races last prep. Looks a strong top-three prospect. NAZARE (6) was beaten 5. 5 lengths into eighth in a 1½f contest at this track four weeks ago. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
