BROOKS JESS HOCKN (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just one length from the winner in second over 1f180yards at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. BREVILOQUENT (10) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1f130yards at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to find winning ways. CYBER LAWYER (2) is returning from a lay-off of four months. Finished seventh at Sunland Park (Dirt) over 1f80yards at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Omar Vargas. Sure to make his presence felt. PRIMERO CARTEL (7) is a two-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Justino Tarin Saenz barn. Hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) 11 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Can run a bold race.
