MAKA KIA (9) finished ninth over 1f180yards at Ruidoso Downs (Dirt) at her most recent appearance on June 6. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. POLITICAL MYSTERY (1) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Ruidoso Downs four months ago. Expected to be competitive.
